Bioinformatics is a vast and interdisciplinary field that combines biology, computer science, statistics, and mathematics. Like programming, one of the most effective ways to learn bioinformatics is by working on a project that interests you and learning the necessary skills as you go. However, having a strong foundation in programming, statistics and molecular biology can be invaluable. This page provides a non-exhaustive list of resources to upskill in bioinformatics. If there are any resources we should add please message me.
